Easy radio commercials

The Society of American Florists is now making it easier for SAF members to include radio commercials in their advertising mix. A library of more than 50 creative radio commercial scripts awaits members at www.safnow.org/marketing/tips.radioscripts.cfm. Members need only customize each script with their own store information.

The scripts are arranged by categories, such as everyday flower benefits, florist attributes, special occasions, romance, apology and sympathy. Members also have access to tips for testing the radio market and buying airtime as well as a glossary of radio terms. They can access “radio marketing 101” at www.safnow.org/marketing/tips/radio.cfm. Other marketing advice featured online includes tips on print advertising, direct mail and public relations.
