ANLA to Film Virtual Tour in NebraskaSource: ANLA

The American Nursery & Landscape Association recently announced the filming of its first virtual garden center tour. The Hop On the Bus tour, which will take place the week of June 14, brings together five retailers from around North America for visits to Mulhall’s and Campbell’s Nursery. The ideas and inspiration will be captured on video and released as a weeklong event on ANLA’s Knowledge Center in late July.

“This is an exciting opportunity to visit two amazing garden centers in a region that would not support a traditional bus tour,” said Platt Hill, owner of Platt Hill Nursery and president of ANLA’s Retail Division Board. “I have known the owners of these garden centers for a long time and I am very excited to be able to share their ideas with my entire team without the cost of a single plane ticket.”

Corey Bordine of Bordine’s will facilitate the tour, and attendees include Lisa Minter-Bustin of Minter Gardens, Steve Gallion of Stauffers of Kissel Hill, Merrideth Jiles of The Great Outdoors and Steve McShane of McShane’s Nursery and Landscape Supply. Dan Mulhall and Chris Campbell will host.

ANLA is collaborating with the Design Works/Fresh Brew Studios, a marketing and design firm with a long history working with garden retailers, to film and produce the tour. Tour sponsors include Bonide, Master Nursery Garden Centers, Bailey Nurseries, Espoma, Novalis, Monrovia, Ball Horticultural Company and Imperial Nursery.

The Hop On the Bus tour will be released on the ANLA Knowledge Center at www.anla.org/knowledgecenter. Register on the ANLA Knowledge Center to receive notification when the virtual tour is available online.
