Aquascape, Inc. Begins Apprentice ProgramSource: Aquascape, Inc.

Aquascape, Inc. recently announced its newly formed Aquascape Apprentice Program. The program was created to help contractors who are just getting their feet wet in the water features industry but aren’t quite ready for the more robust Certified Aquascape Contractor (CAC) program.

An Aquascape Apprentice will have access to ongoing education and a Certified Aquascape Contractor mentor to help hone their skills in building and selling water features. The ability to learn from and rely on someone with several years of experience will prove invaluable to those getting started in the industry. In addition, the Aquascape Apprentice will receive a welcome kit and gain access to a message board for networking and educational purposes.

“Offering an apprentice program to up-and-coming installers will ensure that water features are built properly and customers are served with the highest level of quality,” claimed Cliff “Motel” McCready, director of Aquascape’s CAC Program.

Certified Aquascape Contractors who wish to become mentors for the new program must own a CAC company, have been certified for a minimum of two years and must be able to work with the apprentice to sharpen their water feature construction skills. Mentors must be able to effectively promote the philosophy of “Ponds Done Right, Customers Served Right.” For participating as a mentor in the Aquascape Apprentice program, the CAC will receive continuing education credits toward maintaining certification.

Individuals interested in becoming an Aquascape Apprentice can contact their local Authorized AquascapePRO Distributor or call (866) 877-6637 to learn more. For more information, visit www.aquascapeinc.com.
