Arett Sales Reorganizes

Arett Sales has announced the reorganization of its senior management team.

Noah Chesbrough has been promoted to executive vice president and will be responsible for the sales, operations and personnel departments.Chesbrough has been heavily involved in all aspects of the business since joining Arett in 2010.

Mike Walker has joined the Arett team as the vice president of sales. Mike will oversee all sales functions relating to the independent customer base and will join Arett’s senior management team of Lindsey Chesbrough, Mauri Librett, Noah Chesbrough, Neil Shainwald, Sal Intrieri, Jim Williams and Cathy Schappert.

Walker comes to Arett after serving seven years as the vice president of sales and merchandising for Burpee Garden Products. He has been servicing the lawn and garden industry for over 24 years, starting his career with Spectrum Brands and working his way up the organization in various sales and marketing roles. He also serves as president of The Billy Walker Jr. Foundation, a not-for-profit organization supporting aspiring first responders.

Neil Shainwald will assume the role of Vice President, Independent Channel, and will bring his considerable knowledge and experience to the management of a group of territory sales reps and key accounts.

Jim Williams has been promoted to vice president of merchandising and will continue to play a major role in the senior management team. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the lawn and garden industry and has been with Arett since 1994. He started his career as a manager for Flower Time and after a few years with Pascack Sales came to Arett as a regional sales representative. He joined Arett’s merchandising department in 2003 as a product merchant and was most recently promoted to director of merchandising in 2013.

Lindsey Chesbrough, president of Arett Sales, will continue to work directly with the senior management team to guide the strategic direction of the company and will continue to oversee accounting and merchandising.
