Garick to Distribute Compostable Trash Bags

Garick, a nationwide distributor and processor of sustainable natural resource products, recently announced that is has entered the biodegradable trash bag market. Agreeing to be a distributor for Plastics Solutions Inc. (PSI), Garick will sell ECOSAFE ~6400 biodegradable and compostable bags for use in the home and garden. Garick entered into the agreement with PSI this April.

ECOSAFE ~6400 trash bags are a 100 percent biodegradable and compostable and leave behind no harmful residue. The bags are certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute and the U.S. Composting Council. The bags will fully biodegrade in less than six months.

“This is a great opportunity for Garick to expand into a new market that fits into our sustainable and environmental beliefs,” said Peter Klaich, senior organics program manager, in a company press release. “We believe in enhancing people’s lives and the environment, and by distributing biodegradable, compostable bags we are furthering our mission of being Nature’s Helper.”
