Midwest-CBK Artist Passes Away

Midwest-CBK recently announced with sadness the death of licensed artist Penny McAllister on March 26. She was 56 and died after a battle with cancer. She had been sharing her spirit, creativity and beloved folk art–inspired characters with Midwest-CBK customers for more than seven years. She called it her “dream occupation.” A memorial service took place earlier this week. “Penny’s enthusiasm, wit and creativity will be missed by many but will live on in her whimsical, endearing characters and designs,” said Frederic Contino, Midwest president.
