Bachman CEO to Receive Achievement AwardSource: MinnPost

Dale Bachman, CEO of his family’s Bachman’s Floral Gift & Garden, will be awarded the University of Minnesota’s Outstanding Achievement Award this weekend at a newly expanded urban garden in Minneapolis, reports MinnPost.com’s Joe Kimball.

The somewhat unlikely award ceremony site is operated by the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum’s Urban Gardening initiative, which provides summer jobs for community youth who maintain gardens and learn about urban agriculture.

Bachman’s has provided labor and gardening materials for this program’s expansion.
