On Friday, Costa Farms announced it had acquired the assets and business of First Foliage of Homestead, Fla. The acquisition provides Costa Farms with a widely recognized portfolio from which to continue providing products for its customers and developing the best team in the industry.

“We look forward to continuing to provide customers with the highest quality plants in the industry,” chief executive officer Jose Smith said. “The acquisition of the assets of First Foliage enables Costa Farms to grow with our customers, and to continue to offer superior customer service and incomparable value.”

The addition First Foliage to Costa Farms reportedly makes the company the largest supplier of indoor houseplants and blooming patio plants to customers in the United States.

“With over 2,000 acres of production capabilities in south Florida, Costa Farms will offer an unparalleled selection of quality plants at the most competitive price available,” Smith added.
