English Gardens Forced Out, Plans New Store

English Gardens, which has seven retail stores throughout Michigan, is being forced out of its Ann Arbor location, according to MLive.

English Gardens has been in the Maple Village Shopping Center since 2005, but the company’s New York-based landlord Brixmor has decided not to allow the garden center to renew its lease.

The plan is for English Gardens to close the current store after the Christmas season this year, and they are currently searching for a new site in Ann Arbor to open by spring 2017.
