In 2014, EuroAmerican Propagators and Suntory plan to move to a new venue for California Spring Trials.

The new site will be the Ventura Botanical Garden in Ventura, Calif.

Situated atop a native chaparral hillside with a 180-degree view of the Pacific Ocean and overlooking downtown Ventura, the Botanic Garden will be transformed into a new stop on the Spring Trials route.

Both EuroAmerican and Suntory Flowers Ltd. will display their latest introductions April 5 to 10, 2014.

Scott Fulton, executive director of sales and marketing for EuroAmerican said the company had “overwhelmingly positive feedback” from EuroAmerican’s Spring Trials presence in 2013.

“Many attendees were not as familiar with the products and programs we offer outside of the Proven Winners brand and we look forward to presenting new and interesting things again this year”, Fulton said.

In addition to displaying in Ventura, EuroAmerican will have team members dedicated to representing their Proven Winners products at the Chaminade Resort & Spa in Santa Cruz, Calif., in 2014.

Based in Japan, Suntory is a business partner with EuroAmerican and also is excited to bring its displays to Ventura.

Suntory is known for creating new plant categories and markets including such key brands as Surfinia petunias, Million Bells calibrachoas, Sun Parasol mandevillas and Senetti pericallis.

“This venue has great appeal for our customers and we look forward to having the opportunity to show our new varieties and programs while being surrounded by the native southern California landscape and breathtaking views of the ocean,” said Shunji Ueda, chief executive general manager for Suntory Flowers Ltd.
