GCA Bathroom Awards Deadline Fast Approaching
Garden Centers of America is recognizing stores for their restrooms with its second annual GCA Bathroom Awards, presented during the GCA Membership Networking Lunch at the IGC Show, returning to Chicago’s Navy Pier, August 21-23.
Winners Get Display Plaques & 2013 GCA Summer Tour Ticket
A panel will judge the entries on the bathroom’s creativity and comfort to the customer’s overall shopping experience. The deadline for entries is: July 15, 5 p.m. EDT. The winner of the top honor, the Gold Award, will receive a plaque and comp registration for the 2013 GCA Summer Tour. Other recognitions will include a Silver Award and several Awards of Merit, also honored with plaques.

Open to members and nonmembers alike! Even if you entered last year and didn’t win, you’re encouraged to enter now. To enter the competition, send several photos of your bathroom saved in jpeg file format, along with a brief paragraph about the bathroom, why it is designed the way it is and its benefit to the garden center.
