GCA Provides Customer Service TrainingSource: Garden Centers of America

Garden Centers of America will offer its members a unique four-week customer service training seminar, “Your Front Line Creates Your Bottom Line,” featuring Kathryn Dager of Profitivity, Inc.

The training seminar, which will take place on March 23 and 30, and April 6 and 13, will train, motivate and empower garden center employees and get them ready for the busy spring season. Each week participating companies will watch a short uploaded video with tips on service and sales followed by participation in a live teleseminar.

There will also be an hour-long webinar that focuses on hiring the right people to help make businesses successful.

“We are so excited to offer our members this great opportunity,” said GCA President David Williams. “Customer service is the key to getting ahead in today’s market. Kathryn Dager offers garden center owners the chance not only to ensure they are hiring the right staff but also to take their staff to the next level.”

Topics covered during the training seminar include creating loyal customers; exceeding customer expectations; merchandising and product selection; and creating a culture of service.
