Get Out the Vote in the 2014 American Garden Award ProgramSource: Diane Blazek, All-America Selections

American Garden Award is very pleased to invite the public to vote now in the 2014 contest. Thirty-two prestigious public gardens are participating in the nation's only flower popularity contest—the southern gardens have the flowers planted and are ready to show them off.

Sorry, this voting won’t impact your tax rate, or improve your healthcare, or cause a family rift. But it will cause a moment of joy when you look at four stunning flower varieties and choose your favorite! American Garden Award is very pleased to invite the public to vote now in the 2014 contest. Thirty-two prestigious public gardens are participating in the nation’s only flower popularity contest—the southern gardens have the flowers planted and are ready to show them off.

The northern gardens will do so as Mother Nature allows. But anyone can go online to vote now then visit the gardens later in the season to see the flowers in person then vote again in the garden. The American Garden Award is a unique opportunity for the horticulture industry as well as the general public to view, choose and vote on a specific flower that they think has the most appealing garden characteristics.

Vote now by going to www.americangardenaward.com and clicking on the appropriate button to vote for your favorite flower.

The four entries are:

Cuphea Sirracha Violet F1 from Syngenta Flowers

Foxglove Digiplexis Illumination Flame from Cultivaris
