Poly-Tex Inc. and WaterPulse Inc. have signed an agreement that authorizes Poly-Tex to distribute WaterPulse Retail Mats along with its display systems in the United States and Canada.

Poly-Tex Inc. and WaterPulse Inc. have signed an agreement that authorizes Poly-Tex to distribute WaterPulse Retail Mats along with its display systems in the United States and Canada. WaterPulse manufactures the only commercially available capillary action irrigation mat suitable for the retail garden center market.

Representatives of Poly-Tex first encountered WaterPulse capillary action watering mats on its displays when Walmart began installing WaterPulse mats in retail garden centers throughout the U.S. Use of WaterPulse mats in retail centers has resulted in significantly reduced water consumption—up to 70 percent less for potted plant displays, as well as fewer markdowns due to over- or under-watering. In addition, the labor savings from watering makes workers available for more profitable activities.
