Lebanon Seaboard’s new Preen Battery-Powered Spreader will be unveiled next week at the Independent Garden Center Show in Chicago and rolled out nationally to consumers in spring 2012.The new Battery-Powered Spreader products will be supported in spring 2012 by national consumer advertising and public relations campaigns.
Preen’s signature yellow bottles will be offered in a new SKU with the patented Battery-Powered Spreader cap. The new applicator cap features an inner fan powered by two AAA batteries, which come installed. The consumer simply flips open the top, switches on the fan and points the cap toward the ground. Gravity feeds the Preen granules into the fan, which distributes them evenly.
