Rhode Island Garden Center Closes

Wild Flower Florist and Garden Center in Barrington, R.I., has closed after 25 years, according to the Barrington Patch.

Owner Kathy Luther has decided to go out of business and sell the building to Bayside Mobile Veterinary Care.

Luther opened the shop, essentially in her father’s backyard, after working for the former Cherry & Webb retail store in Barrington.

Wild Flower Florists closure comes after Phil Judge Florist closed in 2013, and Flowers Galore has began liquidating and plans to close. Both businesses were also in Barrington.
