Southern Garden Tour to Take Place in June
The 2017 Southern Garden Tour will take place June 6-8, at three different locations in Alabama, South Carolina and North Carolina.
This year’s tour is comprised of three hosted sites: Young’s Plant Farm, Sakata Seed America at the South Carolina Botanical Gardens and Metrolina Greenhouses. The event is open to all visitors including retailers, brokers, breeders, growers, industry professionals, media and students.
The Southern Garden Tour is an opportunity to view All-America Selection trial sites featuring planters and hanging basket combinations for sun and shade, as well as in-ground and pot trials for up to 500 perennial varieties and 1500 annual varieties. Attendees will see new introductions for the 2017-2018 season along with commercial benchmarks.
