Stein Garden & Gifts to Open New StoreSource: The Business Journal

Stein Gardens & Gifts plans to open a new store in Wauwatosa, Wis. The Business Journal in Milwaukee reports that Stein will be taking over the retail portion of Hawks Nursery in April.

Hawk’s plans to close the store, located at 12217 Watertown Plank Road, on Feb. 17, and Stein will open its retail operation there later this spring.

Hawk’s will continue to operate its landscape design and services company that will be co-marketed by Stein. Hawks also will source its annuals, perennials and the most of its nursery stock from Stein.

Stein currently operates 15 stores in Wisconsin.
