Target Buys Smith & HawkenSource: Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal

Last week, Target Corp. announced it had purchased the Smith & Hawken brand name and some of the upscale garden chain’s intellectual property, reports the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

Smith & Hawken, which was owned by Scotts Miracle-Gro Co, Marysville, Ohio, announced last July that it would shut down the 56-store chain by the end of this year.
