VPG Partners With New Distributors
Voluntary Purchasing Groups (VPG) has announced partnerships with BFG Supply Co., based in Burton, Ohio, and H.B. Davis Seed Co., based in Albany, New York.
One of the three largest greenhouse, nursery, and lawn & garden distributors in the country, BFG Supply Co. will provide VPG with significant penetration into select markets in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic to the eastern part of the Midwest and Chicago. BFG will carry the full line of VPG products, which includes the ferti·lome, Hi-Yield and Natural Guard by ferti·lome brands.
H. B. Davis Seed Co. is a family owned and operated distributor of lawn, home and garden supplies. Since 1948, they’ve been serving independently-owned lawn and garden retailers, landscapers and contractors from New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont. H. B. Davis carries national brands, but focuses on carrying regional brands from the area they cover to keep pricing competitive and support local business. H. B. Davis also strongly supports the veteran community; 40 percent of its staff are veterans, including the president.
