Holiday Hype
First things first, I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving followed by numerous Black Friday shoppers and lots of Small Business Saturday sales. Then, with Cyber Monday and now #GivingTuesday, this sure has been a busy week — I’m almost out of breath just typing all of that!
Before indulging in turkey and embracing every minute of family time, I visited more than a dozen garden centers throughout New Jersey and Long Island, New York.
I’ve posted 114 photos on Facebook, but don’t be overwhelmed. I cut out hundreds of other images I snapped, it’ll only take a few minutes to flip through them all, and you’re bound to come out on the other side with an idea or two.
This trip for sure put me in the holiday shopping spirit! According to the National Retail Federation, holiday spending in November and December is expected to increase between 3.6 and 4 percent this year, which is greater than the five-year average of 3.5 percent.
