In just a few days I’ll be heading to Columbus, Ohio, with many of you I bet. If Cultivate’18 is already on your agenda — or if you live nearby and are still on the fence — you won’t want to miss the Retail Peer2Peer Workshop: Selling a Retail Experience with Can’t Miss Events and Workshops.
This workshop is happening on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It’s an add-on experience with a dynamic panel who are event pros at their garden centers.
There’s Will Heeman from Heeman’s, Brian Bauman from Bauman’s Farm and Garden, Kate Terrell from Wallace’s Garden Center, Jessie Jacobson from Tonkadale Greenhouse and Lindsay Squires Chrisp from Tagawa Gardens — and I’ll be moderating.
Will you be at Cultivate’18? Shoot me an email and let me know! I’d love to meet up with you, or at least look forward to seeing you on the trade show floor.
A Fresh Redesign
You’ve likely noticed the new logo at the top of this email. And have you gotten your July issue yet? Lawn & Garden Retailer has a new modern look. Head over to the digital edition to check out the exciting updates; I’d love to hear what you think.
You also won’t want to miss the July issue for all the new varieties from California Spring Trials, the ins and outs of creating an ambassador marketing program for little cost and huge impact, an anecdote from Blumen Gardens, which has found weddings at the garden center an additional source of revenue, and so much more.
