AmericanHort’s Cultivate’26 to showcase learning, research and industry connections

Cultivate'26 returns to Columbus July 11-14, bringing together green industry professionals for education sessions, retail tours, networking and industry insights.

AmericanHort, the leading national association for the green industry, will host Cultivate’26 this July at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The three-day event attracts thousands of green industry professionals and visitors from all over the U.S. and the world.

The event includes educational learning tracks geared toward horticulture professionals, as well as production and retail tours and hands-on workshops that provide new learning opportunities.

Event highlights include:

  • Garden Retail Tour. This one-day tour will explore some of northern Ohio’s most exceptional garden centers. From iconic regional brands to independently owned retailers, attendees will see how these retailers combine merchandising, design, product assortment and customer engagement to elevate the shopping experience.
  • Women in Horticulture. This year’s Women in Horticulture program will cover “How to Stay Inspired When You’re So Darn Tired.” Keynote speaker Christine Cashen is a certified speaking professional and certified virtual presenter and the award-winning author of “The Good Stuff” and “It’s YOUR Business.”
  • tHRIve Sessions. The Horticultural Research Institute (HRI), AmericanHort’s research foundation, will present a full slate of tHRIve sessions, offering an opportunity to hear speakers presenting key industry insights of interest to all segments of the green industry from HRI-supported research endeavors.
