2019 Farwest Show to Host Networking Events for Women, Young Professionals
The 2019 Farwest Show will offer two networking opportunities for key segments of the industry. The first event, Emergent Networking Event, is for businesspeople who are new to the horticulture industry. The second event, Women in Horticulture, gives women in the industry a forum so they can share and make connections. The show will take place August 21-23 in Portland, Oregon.
The Emergent Networking Event takes place from 3:30-5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21. It is open to all horticulture professionals. Emergent brings together the industry’s best and brightest professionals under the age of 40 and to mingle, network, and build a brighter future for the green industry. Attendance is free.
The Women in Horticulture networking event is scheduled from 3:30-5 p.m. on Thursday, August 22. It will give women across the industry an opportunity to expand their business networks and find a new sense of inspiration with like-minded professionals. Attendance is free.
