Cornelius Nursery Opens Third Houston-Area Location
Cornelius Nursery recently announced it has opened its third Houston-area store at 6720 HWY 90A in Sugar Land, Texas. Cornelius Nursery is owned and operated by Fort Worth-based Calloway’s Nursery, which decided to open a store in Sugar Land because it is one of the most rapid growing cities in the greater Houston area.
“We always look to open new stores in growing communities that are experiencing exponential growth, like Sugar Land, so we can be a knowledgeable gardening resource to local families,” said Calloway’s Nursery CEO Marce Ward. “Our team works hard to make gardening fun, easy and successful for customers by offering the best plants and products for sale, as well as provide expert knowledge from the numerous Texas certified nursery professionals in our stores.”
The Sugar Land store will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony in February of 2020.
In addition, Cornelius Nursery will also hold its annual poinsettia sale, now in its 16th year, to benefit Texas-based nonprofit Lena Pope, an organization that provides counseling and education services that impact more than 20,000 people in need each year. This sale will be held through the end of the year.
