Garden Center Group Releases Details on 2022 Fall Event
The Garden Center Group Fall Event takes place Sept. 19-22 in Kansas City, Missouri, with the theme Beyond the Boundaries of Garden Retailing.
The event kicks off on Monday, Sept. 19 with a Welcome Session and introductions by Danny Summers, followed by Tim Quebedeaux’s presentation. about key performance indicators (KPIs) from the Garden Center Group’s 2021 Profit & Loss Study and a panel discussion on “Perennially Profitable Garden Centers.” A Welcome to Kansas City reception will follow.
On Tuesday, Sept. 20, attendees will learn from presentations from John Kennedy, Sid Raisch, Darren Abbott of Hallmark Cards Inc., and Jean Seawright.
Wednesday, Sept. 21, is tour day, with stops at five retail garden centers in the Kansas City area.
Thursday, Sept. 22 will open with a post-tour panel discussion moderated by Danny Summers, followed by a presentation from Robert Hayter. Another panel discussion will explore “Beyond the Boundaries of Traditional Marketing,” moderated by Danny Summers and Tom Kegley, and the event closes with a wrapup session by Danny Summers.
