GCA Summer Tour Discount Ends June 1

June 1 is the last day to take advantage of early bird discounts for GCA Summer Tour Seattle — a substantial savings of $50 per person, plus $30 for each additional person registered, no quantity limits. GCA Summer Tour is not restricted to GCA members and is open to all independent garden center retailers.

Registrants are encouraged to book their hotel now to take advantage of incredibly discounted rates at the Marriott Redmond — while rooms are still available, through Friday, June 1. The seaside-area hotel is newly redesigned with modern, minimalist decor and a sleek, contemporary look. In addition to numerous dining options nearby, the property’s on-site restaurant, SEAR, serves up flavorful steaks, locally sourced fare, plus a vast selection of regional beers and Washington State wines.

IGC retailers from all over the country will gather June 24-27 to network and get energized with new ideas from GCA Summer Tour Seattle’s featured destinations, from trendy urban garden boutiques to established fourth-generation independents and a nursery/winery combo with a view of Mount Rainier. A very special extra this year, industry legend Ernest Wertheim, 98, the father of garden center store design, will offer pointed insights and share priceless industry insights as a featured commentator.
