Plant Select Partners With The Perfect Plant

Plant Select is providing The Perfect Plant on its website. The Perfect Plant is a customizable plant and pest solution for retailers and brands to engage consumers in-store and online.

Plant Select is utilizing The Perfect Plant’s “Plant Finder” and “My Garden Wishlist” capabilities to help visitors to the Plant Select website search plant information with ease, find plant pairings and generate comprehensive plant wishlists. Customized lists can then be shared or downloaded and printed from a personal computer to take to retail nurseries. The search for plants becomes even easier when customers choose to shop Plant Select inventory (ready spring 2019) at a retailer on the “Where to Buy” tab.

“Tens of thousands of people want to know which plants they can find at a retailer on an annual basis. Now they can through our partnership with The Perfect Plant,” says Ross Shrigley, executive director of Plant Select. “This is a huge win for our brand, our members and consumers.”

Often consumers can be directed to retailers where a brand exists, but not necessarily to plant solutions that fit a customer’s needs. With this new functionality, consumers can search Plant Select varieties, or find the right plant, based on specific attributes like native, drought tolerant, deer resistant or attracts pollinators. Once consumers find the plants they like on Plant Select’s homepage, or the “Where to Buy” tab, they can easily shop with confidence using their custom wishlist.

Shrigley believes working together with The Perfect Plant is the best for everyone. “What The Perfect Plant continues to build is a truly beneficial system for the entire industry. They are connecting the dots for brands, retailers and consumers. This is the united voice our industry so desperately needs and I’m excited to be a part of it.”

To search for plants using The Perfect Plant, visit and click on “Search Right Plant Right Place.” To locate plants available at a particular retailer, click on the “Shop Now” link located next to a retailer name on the “Where to Buy” tab.
