Pleasant View Gardens Launches Year-Long Virtual Market Series

Building on the excitement and success of its Virtual Open House Week this past August, Pleasant View Gardens (PVG) is expanding its offering by creating a year-long series of virtual events, sure to please growers, brokers, retailers, and gardeners alike.

“The response to the content we provided during our Virtual Open House Week was overwhelmingly positive,” said Henry Huntington, PVG president. “And we wanted to continue to provide our customers with the kind of solid horticultural information that would help them grow their businesses.”

Pleasant View Gardens Launches Year-Long Virtual Market SeriesTo help keep customers and industry pros engaged and informed, Pleasant View Gardens introduces PVGVirtual Market Series. This full year of informative online discussions, interviews, and roundtables with industry experts will cover topics that will promote the exchange of thoughts, ideas, and expertise about plants, growing, and what it takes to make everyone more successful.

The first of the PVGVirtual Market Series events will be held at 10 a.m. ET on Dec. 10, where Pleasant View’s National Sales Manager Andy Huntington will host a Zoom conversation with industry experts from GPN magazine, Lawn & Garden Retailer magazine, and Proven Winners. The scheduled 40-minute discussion will focus on hot retail topics from capturing new customers, product kitting, and new trends, to sustainability, online initiatives, and more. Off-screen viewers can join from the comfort of their own desktop or mobile device and will be encouraged to pose questions for the group to address live or as a follow-up.

In addition to the Market Series events, Pleasant View has furthered its commitment to help educate and inform by creating original content for its YouTube channel. Using videos that premiere weekly, PVG is able to update its 400,000-subscriber base regarding topics from the latest Proven Winners varieties, to seasonal plant care, to the hottest recipes for the new year.

“Given the current pandemic situation, it’s going to take some time to get back to ‘business as usual’. Our goal is to help customers and anyone in the industry, for that matter, keep things moving forward. To help them grow their knowledge base and ultimately end up stronger as a result. Combining our new Market Series with our YouTube channel content helps make that happen,” Huntington said.
