PPA Debuts Virtual Edition, Postpones National Symposium

Perennial Plant Association is excited to announce the first “PPA: Virtual Edition” event scheduled for June 17 on New Ways to Communicate.  Presented in partnership with GardenComm, this fast-paced webinar features five speakers who will each give a quick, 15-minute presentation on communication and marketing ideas to use during this unusual spring and summer.

Our exciting lineup of marketing experts are Jessica DeGraaf, Proven Winners; C.L. Fornari, The Garden Lady; Jennifer Polanz, Green Profit; Jo Ellen Meyers Sharp, Write for You!; and David Wilson, Overdevest Nurseries.  Following the educational webinar, participants can join us for a virtual Happy Hour (limited tickets available) where they are invited to grab their drink of choice, turn on their camera, and join select speakers and PPA Board members for a structured conversation.

More information and registration is available at perennialplant.org/page/VirtualEdition.

In addition, as announced to PPA members a few weeks ago, the Perennial Plant Association Board of Directors voted to not hold a National Symposium in 2020. This was reportedly a unanimous decision and one the PPA board feels confident is the right decision for the health and safety of their PPA family.

The 2021 Perennial Plant Association National Symposium will now take place July 26-30, 2021, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and the 2022 Perennial Plant Association National Symposium will be July 25-29, 2022, in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

More details about the 2021 National Symposium in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, will be posted to perennialplant.org in the coming months.
