PPA to Present Two Webinars
The Perennial Plant Association recently announced two upcoming events from PPA: Virtual Edition. These events both include an educational webinar with a happy hour to follow to allow for further topic discussion and networking.
On Nov. 11, PPA will host “The Grass Toolbox: Why the Pros Choose and Use” sponsored by Cavano’s Perennials Inc. and Hoffman Nursery.
A group of grass experts will engage in an analytical discussion surrounding their grass wish lists, best problem-solvers, cautions and challenges, the under-appreciated, and a prediction of what they think will be in demand.
Attendees will impact the direction of the talks by sending questions and comments, and participating in live polling throughout the session. The panel of grass experts will include Mike Berkely of Growild Inc., Laura Ekasetya of Lurie Garden, and Donald Pell of Donald Pell Gardens. The webinar will be moderated by Wendy Brister of Cavano’s Perennials, while Shannon Currey of Hoffman Nursery hosts the online chat.
On Dec. 9, PPA and the American Public Gardens Association will present “Great Garden Tours: Beyond the Landscape – Features with Winter Interest.” This webinar will showcase unique hardscapes, dazzling lights, inspiring artwork and a festive botanical beverage.
