Promo kit available to celebrate new National Wave Day
In 2025, Wave petunias from PanAmerican Seed will kick off the gardening season with its first official consumer national holiday, as May 3 has been named National Wave Day.
The Wave team has several events scheduled, as well as additional plans for public relations outreach to continue consumer awareness for the brand, spread happiness through Wave petunias and Wave pansies, and ultimately increase sales for garden centers.
To help growers and retailers take advantage of this consumer blitz and rise in exposure, PanAmerican Seed has produced a ready-to-download Wave Promo Kit webpage filled with supportive marketing resources that stores can use to draw in shoppers and build excitement leading up to National Wave Day.
The kit includes downloadables such as:
- Videos – to play in-store and educate your employees on the full Wave assortment.
- Social Media – posts and graphics to add to your channels and increase engagement.
- Logos and P.O.P. – from bench cards to posters and cart banners, you can dress up your Wave display.
- Fun Activities – place coloring pages for the kids and National Wave Day invites at the cash register.
In addition, a revised “Add Your Business” tool will help independent garden centers help shoppers find their stores by adding their location information. Wave fans can then search by zip/postal code through the wavegardening.com “Where to Buy” webpage to find a store nearest them selling Wave Petunias and Wave Pansies.
