Syngenta Flowers, Varinova Cyclamen Partner

Syngenta Flowers, LLC and Varinova Operations B.V. have announced a new agreement with Syngenta Flowers becoming the exclusive sales and marketing channel for Varinova cyclamen varieties in the U.S. and Canada.

Varinova’s robust cyclamen portfolio and innovative breeding pipeline will allow Syngenta Flowers to continue its strong presence in the cyclamen market and supporting growers with a full range of top-tier varieties.

“The combination of Varinova and Syngenta cyclamen genetics will continue to support Syngenta as a market leader in cyclamen as well as bring continual innovation and value to our grower and broker partners in North America” said Scott Valentine, head of Syngenta Flowers in North America.

This combined offering also leverages best-in-class technical support from both companies with Varinova providing technical support to North American growers in conjunction with Syngenta’s own technical expertise to give growers a full package of genetics and technical growing support.

“We have been working on the development of our Cyclamen assortment with the North American market in mind. Next to our current assortment, we are anticipating much more interesting introductions to come. The vast network of Syngenta and our knowledge of cyclamen will be a strong combination to benefit the North American growers’ demands,” according to Bart Kuijer, director of Varinova Operations B.V.

This new offering will be on full display during CAST 2019, from March 23-27, 2019. Varinova varieties will be available for viewing at Syngenta Flowers CAST location as well as Headstart Nursery.
