Coreopsis

Coreopsis ‘Lightning Bug’ is a compact verticillata hybrid that will be available for garden centers in late 2015. It has good powdery mildew resistance and requires well-drained soil and full sun. It averages 10-inch foliage height, 15-inch foliage spread and 12-inch flower height. Its mounding habit and fast growth rate make this perennial an ideal addition to mixed beds and borders, as a mass, an accent or in a container. Zones 5-10.
