We’re back from California Spring Trials, and the trip went great. We saw tons of new introductions and great merchandising ideas. It’s hard to believe more than 60 companies were present at the trials, and we tackled it all in five days.

I know we talk an awful lot about the weather in our industry, but this year seems to be more finicky than ever. While we were in California, Andrew Joyer of Waldoch Farm Garden Center in Minnesota sent me this video saying they have a “Pansy Spring Trial” they started over the weekend.

OK, OK, it’s definitely a joke, but it’ll make you laugh. And hopefully it’ll give you an idea for how you can have some fun on social media to reach countless people — it has 50,000 views already!

I’m asking for your help in sharing a few different things:
