Danziger provides preview of 2027 season new varieties
With the 2027 season quickly approaching for retailers, Danziger is showcasing its new varieties, tools and trends.
InnovationFest, the company’s official launch of the future growing season, highlights breakthroughs in breeding and offers learning opportunities for growers of every size. This year, Danziger’s social channels will provide firsthand looks at advanced genetics, discussions on research-backed global performance, and innovative techniques for growing efficiencies.
“The 2027 season is going to be extraordinary, with new genetics that bring beauty to the next level,” said Ori Danziger, deputy CEO. “These varieties offer the colors and patterns growers and home gardeners are looking for, as well as a few surprises that will be on everyone’s list for next season. Here is a sneak peek at just a few new varieties.
Expansion in the Amazonas Petunias Collection
Three new colors have been added to the Amazonas collection: (left to right) Midnight Finch, Pink Macaw and Violet Parakeet. The three new selections join the award-winning Plum Cockatoo variety. Each selection brings the colors of the rainforest to the garden with ruffled green edges and unique bloom colors.
Calibrachoa ‘Ombre Tyler Glam’
This new addition to the Ombre series features bigger flowers and bolder blooms in hues of red, orange, and yellow. It is absolutely glowing with on-trend tropical color that creates eye-catching, color-changing mono baskets and adds a punch to combinations.
Hybrid Impatiens ‘Sol Luna Orange Duet’
Danziger’s Sol Luna hybrid impatiens series now features a bicolor variety, Orange Duet, which offers large, creamy orange and bright white blooms backed by deep dark foliage. A standout in the garden, Orange Duet is suitable for sun or shade.
Three New Nesia Nemesia
Danziger’s top performing nemesia series adds three new colors for 2027. (left to right) Nesia Arctic Blue, Hot Red and Gold bring a multitude of multi-colored blooms in a compact habit. The entire collection blooms early with loads of flowers and is more heat tolerant than other nemesia on the market. Perfect for 6-packs, quarts and combos.
Three new Besties Osteospermum colors
The award-winning osteospermum Besties series has three new colors: Playful Bicolor Purple (above, left), which features lavender and light pink blooms with purple centers; Vivid Violet, which brings vibrant blooms to the garden; and Brilliant Bronze (above, right), which adds a warm glow to containers or the landscape.
