McHutchison promotes Burns to director of vendor management
McHutchison has promoted Kim Burns to the role of director of vendor management – nursery.
Burns joined the company in 2021 as vendor program manager and has played a pivotal role in enhancing McHutchison’s vendor programs and driving strategic growth within the nursery category.
Burns has over 30 years of experience in the industry and a strong track record of leadership across sales, marketing, operations and procurement.
“Kim’s promotion reflects the significant contributions that she has made in a short time and our confidence in her leadership going forward,”said Ken Turrentine, McHutchison president. “Her depth of experience and strategic insight will continue to be instrumental as we evolve our nursery category and strengthen supplier partnerships.”
In her new role, Burns will continue to lead vendor strategy and program development, driving innovation, efficiency and excellence across the nursery supply chain.
