Atlanta Market drew more buyers in Summer 2026
Atlanta Market and Atlanta Apparel reported increased buyer participation during their combined Summer 2026 event, which took place June 9-14 at AmericasMart Atlanta.
The two markets were held concurrently for the first time because of scheduling changes related to the FIFA World Cup. Organizers said total buying accounts increased 1.1% year over year despite changes to the market format, timing and category mix.
The combined event brought together gift, home, outdoor living, apparel, accessories and lifestyle exhibitors across the AmericasMart campus. Organizers reported growth in several categories, including a 53% increase in apparel buying accounts and a 21% increase in grocery and convenience store buying accounts compared with the previous year.
First-time participants increased 22.5% year over year, according to event organizers.
During the market, organizers recognized exhibitors for merchandising and booth design. Ameico received Atlanta Market’s Best in Show award, while BudhaGirl earned the top honor at Atlanta Apparel.
