Zoltan Kovacs joins ThinkPlants as program representative
Zoltan Kovacs has been appointed a program representative at ThinkPlants. He will support sales, be a leading member of the ThinkPlants trials team, and represent the company at industry events and trials.
“I am excited to announce that Zoltan has joined our team,” says Joey Wiseman, director at ThinkPlants. “ThinkPlants has been steadily growing in the last five years. We have been wanting to add a new level of perennial expertise and grower support to what ThinkPlants has to offer the North American grower network, and I think we have done just that by hiring Zoltan.”
Kovacs has received education in the industry from Hungary and at the University of Minnesota. He brings over 25 years of experience in the field to the ThinkPlants team. Kovacs has previously worked at Mahoney’s Garden Center, Sunny Border Nurseries, and Michael’s Greenhouses. He was most recently the perennial product manager in North America for Dummen Orange, where he initiated the perennial program and introduced countless varieties.
“I am excited to take on the challenge of contributing to the growth of ThinkPlants,” Kovacs said. “I have been following the development of this program and I am thrilled to be a part of it. My expertise and passion lie in perennials, and I am eager to bring that energy to this new team.”
