2007 Proven Winners Design Contest Winners AnnouncedSource: Proven Winners

The 2007 Proven Winners Design Contest winners have been announced. Each won a prize of $1,000.

Division A (10 employees or less): Mariemont Garden Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, had tried the brand for the first time and found that it paid for itself in just one weekend. The display placed all of the plants together along with the flier.

Division B (11-25 employees): Donahue’s Greenhouses, Faribault, Minn., created a mannequin planted with Supertunias and tries to show finished containers with the plants for sale.

Division C (26-75): Valley Nursery, Poulsbo, Wash., has had great success with the Spring and Fall Magic programs and sees customers returning for more products.

Division D (more than 75 employees): Ray Wiegland’s Nursery, Macomb, Mich., has incorporated Proven Winners potting soil and fertilizer in displays along with advertising on the Weather Channel and carrying a broad variety of Proven Winners plants.
