In an ongoing mission to raise the visibility of All-America Selections, AAS Winners and the overall activities of the organization, the AAS Board of Directors has just released the 2012 All-America Selections Annual Report. Following the 2011 report, which was the first Annual Report AAS had prepared in several decades, this latest report highlights recent progress made in trialing new, never-before-sold varieties, subsequent promotion of the top-performers and activities surrounding the organization’s 80th anniversary.

In the “Forecast and Future Outlook” letter on page 15, Vice President Ron Cramer briefly mentions the news that All-America Selections will begin to accept vegetative ornamentals into our trialing program for the 2013 season. Potential trial judges have been contacted and breeders will learn more about entering their ornamental vegetative varieties in the coming weeks. For more information, please contact Diane Blazek.

Released just in time for distribution before the OFA Short Course, the AAS staff and board welcomes input and feedback from the industry. All-America Selections and sister organization, National Garden Bureau, can be found in booth #1935 at the OFA Short Course.
