GrowIt! Hires Community Engagement Manager
Digital platform GrowIt! continues to expand with the addition of Megan Uithoven as Community Engagement Manager. She will be responsible for developing internal communications, user engagement and content curation strategies.
Additionally, she will be responsible for new app features that will be developed to heighten user engagement. Uithoven is an experienced Community Manager coming from an on-line peer-to-peer community for multi-billion dollar brands. In 2014 co-founders Mason Day and Seth Reed set out to connect people to plants through GrowIt!.
In 2015 GrowIt! started doing what we designed it to do, attracting consumers, with 50 percent of them being in the Millennial generation. Since its consumer release in March of this year Day and Reed have seen massive growth in users and activity. They say that Uithoven will help them take GrowIt! to the next level as they roll out enhancements over the next several months.
