Sakata Celebrates 40 Years in North America
This year marks Sakata Seed America’s 40th anniversary since it debuted in North America, and Sakata is ready to celebrate. Sakata Seed America has developed a new logo and slogan in honor of its 40th anniversary.
“Throughout the year we’ll be celebrating our anniversary by giving back to the employees, customers, industry and community that got us to this point,” said Alecia Troy, senior marketing manager. “This accomplishment is only made possible by many positive elements and we want to recognize and share that story all year long!”
Sakata’s first celebration of the year is set to take place during 2017 California Spring Trials, April 1-5, where visitors will be greeted with the 40th anniversary theme as soon as they step in the door, and will find a lineup on new introductions including Profusion Red zinnia, which already is an AAS Winner and the Fleuroselect Gold Medal award for the year.
Other highlights include new dwarf snapdragon series, Candy Tops, and two stunning new SuperCal petunia colors: Buttercream and Red Crimson.
