Garden Center Group reveals 2024 Fall Event details

The Garden Center Group Fall Event 2024 will take place Sept. 23-26 in Dallas, Texas, with an Early Bird Marketing Workshop (included in the cost of registration) scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 22.

Highlights include:

From 2-5:15 p.m. on Sept. 22, Early Bird Marketing Workshop: The 5 Pillars of Successful Brand Marketing will be facilitated by Steve Kendall (The Design Works) and Kim Nelson (Red Chalk Studios). This session will discuss essential marketing ideas, tools, and processes for building, refining and reimagining your framework for successful marketing.

John Kennedy will follow up to his standing room only session on leadership with “Emerging Leaders 2.0” the morning of Monday, Sept. 23. He will take your existing or emerging leadership role to the next level with a deeper dive into the art and science of influence.

Tim Quebedeaux will present “Big Profits: Aim Big, Don’t Shoot for Average” on Monday afternoon. He will present new observations as well as help garden retailers dive deeper into the Best of Best Centers as they share details in a panel discussion and answer audience questions.

On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Katie Tamony, chief marketing officer at Monrovia, will discuss “The Evolving Customer,” sharing her insights and research into the new connections, inspirations and opportunities in reaching today’s garden center customers.

Wednesday Garden Center Group Fall Event will be spent touring six Dallas Texas garden centers of varying sizes

Wednesday, Sept. 25 will be spent touring six garden centers of varying sizes, all showing us new ideas from Big D:

  • Nicholson-Hardie Home & Garden Shop, Dallas-Lovers Lane (East)

  • Covington’s Nursery & Landscape, Rowlette-President George Bush Highway
  • Ruibal’s Plants of Texas, Dallas-S. Pearl Expressway
