Green Career Week returns March 2, 2026

Seed Your Future will host Green Career Week from March 2-6.

This national effort aims to connect industry professionals with classrooms and introduce more students to more green careers. With the global population growing and environmental challenges increasing, the demand for skilled professionals in green industries has never been greater. Green Career Week bridges the gap between students and industry leaders, cultivating a future workforce prepared to address these challenges with innovative solutions.

What Happens During Green Career Week

Throughout the week, participating businesses, organizations and educational institutions collaborate to showcase horticulture’s vital role in daily life. Activities will highlight career paths ranging from landscaping and plant science to sustainable agriculture and urban forestry.

Students, educators and industry professionals will come together for hands-on demonstrations, facility tours, mentoring sessions and more.

How to Get Involved:

Industry professionals can partner with schools to offer hands-on demonstrations, facility tours, or mentoring opportunities.
