Costa Farms acquires Battlefield Farms

Miami-based Costa Farms has acquired Battlefield Farms, a grower of over 700 varieties of annuals and perennials in Rapidan, Virginia. This strategic acquisition intends to enhance Costa Farms’ market share and significantly extend its geographical presence, expanding its overall influence and footprint in the horticultural industry.

40-year-old Battlefield Farms has a reputation of expertise in cultivating annuals and perennials, leveraging advanced growing techniques, and is committed to sustainable farming. The farm has 45 acres of greenhouse production and 20 acres of outdoor production.
