International Orchid Show Returns to Santa Barbara
The 75th Annual International Orchid Show is scheduled to take place on March 10 to 12 at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, California. The 2023 show is aptly named “Orchids — The Adventure Returns,” after the abrupt cancellation of the last show in 2020 due to the onset of the Covid pandemic. Orchid lovers will be able to immerse themselves in thousands of flowers beautifully displayed at one of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious orchid shows in the U.S.
“Santa Barbara County has such a rich history with orchids, and it’s such an honor to celebrate 75 years of this show,” says Lauris Rose, president of Santa Barbara International Orchid Show. “It’s an exuberant event to celebrate the beauty of this flower and the growers that are so devoted to bringing it into our lives. We are thrilled with the growing list of participants. Not only can attendees delight in grand orchid displays but also enjoy exhibits of orchid art, photography, and floral arrangements and the bustling sales hall!”
