Mycorrhizal Applications introduces biological disease control for retail
Mycorrhizal Applications has added Magic Gardener biological disease control to its line of retail-ready plant health solutions. Magic Gardener is a broad-spectrum biological fungicide and bactericide used to control or suppress diseases caused by plant pathogenic microbes for residential home and garden use.
Magic Gardener has “a completely new, and higher potency, strain of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, PTA-4838,” said Blair Busenbark, sales and commercial marketing manager at Mycorrhizal Applications. “This strain has extremely strong staying power and offers a higher level of performance, which many may find surprising for a biologically derived product.”
Naturally found in the soil, Bacilius is known to control common consumer plant problems, including downy mildew, leaf spot, gray mold, rusts, powdery mildew, and more. Magic Gardener can be used on a variety of home garden and residential plants such as ornamentals, fruits, vegetables, herbs and turf. Customers will find Magic Gardener easy to use with a clear label and tips for success.
Magic Gardener is listed with the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI), an international non-profit organization that determines which products can be used in organic production under the USDA National Organic Program. With one in three respondents to the National Gardening Survey reporting that they choose to buy mostly or all organic products, an OMRI listing is a top-selling point for many customers.
In addition, Magic Gardener is made in the U.S., has a two-year shelf life, and features vibrant packaging. “Perfect for the retail shelf, the Magic Gardener packaging is eye-catching and unique,” said Katie Gustafson, marketing communications manager at Mycorrhizal Applications. “Customers will be drawn to the bright colors and graphic design of the product.”
