Green industry comes together for Cultivate’23
Known to attract thousands of industry professionals, Cultivate’23 will take place July 15-18 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. Visitors travel from all 50 states and over 40 countries to attend the event.

Educational sessions will begin alongside industry production tours and hands-on workshops taking place on Saturday, July 15. Trade show hours begin on Sunday, July 16.
Event highlights include:
- Industry Production Tours — tour attendees will have a chance to see business practices up close. Spend the day on the Garden Retail Tour, Garden Retail Traveling Workshop, Greenhouse Production Tour or Nursery Production Tour to learn from your peers, build your network, and gather ideas to help your operation.
- Women in Horticulture — This year’s Women in Horticulture program explores “True Connection and Influence: How to Build Authenticity and Leadership Skills.” Keynote speaker Marlene Eick is a consultant and trainer for emerging and established leaders in associations and communities. After growing up on a family farm, she completed an undergraduate program at The Ohio State University and has a master’s degree from the University of Florida with a specialization in leadership development.
- tHRIve Sessions — The Horticultural Research Institute (HRI), AmericanHort’s research foundation, will offer several 50-minute educational sessions with speakers presenting key green industry insights. Sessions will focus on plant breeding, technology, drones, pollinators and natives, and pest and disease.
