More millennials are choosing to live in smaller spaces with little or no yards than ever before. With this in mind, Costa Farms’ has introduced a new series of idea books to help this generation of gardeners bring plants into their lives.

Costa Farms’ latest eBook release, “Grow Gorgeous Container Gardens,” covers all the basics — from selecting easy-care plants to creating the perfect design to caring for containers throughout the season.

“Our research has shown that millennials want easy, inexpensive DIY projects to improve the look of their homes and outdoor spaces,” says Justin Hancock, garden expert at Costa Farms. “This Idea Book is another tool to help us inspire and educate this group to create custom containers that fit their lifestyle and needs.”

The photo-packed idea book includes dozens of designs for beautiful container gardens using a variety of plants — including low-water succulents, lush shade plants, no-fuss perennials, blooming tropicals and houseplants — in hanging baskets, window boxes and more.

All bases are covered with the “Know Before You Grow” section. Tips on container design, care and combinations prepare gardeners for what they’re about to dig in to.

Millennials seeking low-maintenance and cost-friendly projects will be excited by the “So Easy Succulents” section, which highlights water-wise and easy-to-grow succulents.

“We want gardeners of every level — including nongardeners — to find the inspiration they need as quickly and easily as possible,” adds Hancock.
